I have loved reading the previous books in this series, and so was thoroughly looking forward to this latest installment...and I was not disappointed
This time the story focussed on the eldest son of the Brogan family Charlie, and his sister's best friend Francesca.
When Charlie is injured abroad and is sent home to recuperate, he finds that his wife Stella has been exotic dancing, and vows to take his son...but Stella has other ideas.
Meanwhile Francesca, who has been in love with Charlie for years begins working at the BBC and meets Italian Count Leo who tries to sweep her off her feet, much to her father's pleasure.
This is a warm, and lovely book to read, and it felt like I was catching up with old friends, while at the same time learning new things. Great pace, great characters, what more do you need?
