Enlightening

I have read the previous 2 books in this series and thoroughly enjoyed them...

This one was no exception but I did find that the character of Stella Brogan brought a lot of crudity into an otherwise interesting follow on.
I do realize that the author was trying to show us just what a promiscuous character she was but I found it irritating to have to read in such graphic detail how she conducted her sex life.

The accounts of the bombing and how life was was lived then was extremely interesting.

How the Americans were conducting themselves too was very enlightening especially how they experienced NO shortages of nylons, chocolate and the many many necessities that the British people had to do without.

All in all a good read.
