I really enjoyed this as I learnt some stuff at how it was during the war and what it was like to ration and how much food they had and how theirs and our family's that grew up in those times and read about what I learned in school and what I have been getting told by family.
I remember some stuff I learned about at school but this taught me more stuff and how they had the weddings and and what type of food and drink they had to eat and drink and how the family's did things on the day and how they lived.
The one thing that interested me was how they lived in the houses and how they coped going to school and being evacuated and leaving behind their family and friends and how they would go to church and keep in touch with their family and friends with letters as they couldn't talk as they didn't have all the things we do now and they would have sometimes not eat as they couldn't afford it
