These books are so so good.
They make you feel part of the story and you love and hate the characters as you are meant to.
I hate it when the story ends and want to know what will happen next.
It's a feel good story about normal things plus hardships in a normal family.
In this day in age we will never know hardships that were known back in the war and what people had to sacrifice in order for the family to survive. People had to make due and rally together to get what they needed. Communities going through the same struggles helping each other out at a drop of a hat and just being there for each other. How I wish that would still be the case today.
How nice would it be to rely on a neighbour to help in whatever way they could.
I love all the characters in this book. Each have their own story to tell but dosnt make it confusing in these books. Definitely worth a read and will look forward to reading any more that come out.
