I loved this book, it followed on straight away from the third one and was just as good as all the others. It had me hooked from the first page until the last.
I loved the descriptions in this book which brought everything to life. I could hear the bombs dropping and feel the heat of the fires from the burning buildings, it was a very difficult time for the people who went through the Second World War and this book describes it just right.
I love the characters in this book and I really hope there are more books to come as I would b desolate if it suddenly came to an end as there is more of this family’s story to tell and I really want to know what happens to them all. These are the types of books you can read again and again.
