I'm not sure what to make of this. The cover looks brilliant and really drew me in. I'm a fan of Bernard Cornwell's The Last Kingdom and was hopeful that this would be similar.
I was a little disappointed. The writing style doesn't seem to fit (in my opinion), and the beginning seems too much like a recap of a previous book rather than setting the story.
It will be good for some, but not for me!
