The title drew me in initially but after just a couple of pages I really liked Ester and want to know more about her. Her first meeting with Jonah was well described and even though he mugged our heroine, I didn't dislike him.
Despite being a very unusual family, they are well described & sympathetic - I think this could be an interesting book...
