This is probably one of the better books I've read that deals with anxiety, fear and depression with humour but still keeps it real enough that it's hard hitting and relatable.

It was refreshing, it made me laugh, it made me cry and it had a unique take on mental illness that I really appreciated.

The cast of characters were weird but in such a lovable way. I felt like I could relate to a lot of what was discussed and tackled in the book and the curse aspect was so well done it had me questioning whether or not this book was magical realism.

The only downside for me is that I would have liked more from Hephzibah, Peter and Rosemary because it would have been interesting to be inside their heads, but I'd still highly recommend picking this up!

As a side note there are quite a few triggers in this for suicide, self-harm, domestic abuse & physical abuse so be aware when going into this book.
