Esther Solar had been waiting outside Lilac Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre for half an hour when she received word that the curse had struck again.

I received a copy of this book from Readers First in exchange for an honest review.

I highly recommend this book, it is a YA, Contemporary about Mental Illness, Death, Fear and Suicide.

To begin with I did struggle to get into it, however I was in a bit of a miniature reading slump as when I really got into it, I throughly enjoyed it. In this book we learn about Esther Solar and her twin brother Eugene and how their family is cursed to die from the thing that they fear the most. Esther has a list of worst nightmares to keep her from dying from whatever her main fear is, however Jonah robs her and takes her list of worst nightmares and her phone and they end up working together through Esther's list so that they can be rid of the curse that is upon her family. There's also a Harry Potter reference at the beginning of this book!

I really liked Hephzibah as a character, she is Esther's best friend who when they were younger, Esther didn't even think she was a real person because she's mute, I would've liked her to be in the book a bit more so that we could learn more about her. However once I had finished this book, I was itching to know more, I wanted to know more about the character's and how they're getting on after everything but I did like the way that everything wrapped up in this book.

I haven't read Krystal Sutherland's other book - Our Chemical Hearts - despite it being on my wishlist for so long but after reading this, I'm definitely going to have to look into getting myself a copy of it.
