It turns out that I'm a snowflake! From the title I thought it was going to be an offensive book and that it was going mock those who try to live ethically. The term snowflake is usually used as an insult, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However when you read this extract, immediately you are told that this author is claiming back the word "snowflake" and no longer using it as a derogatory term. I really like this book, its got short snappy chapters that recognize very real issues in Christmas traditions that are mindlessly followed. This book and what it addresses and how it's written may appeal to the millennial and gen-z generation more than others, but it's not to say that there aren't things that other generations can take on board. The chapters aren't droning on about what people should and shouldn't do, it simply addresses the problem and gives you comical solutions. I like how this book is written and the illustrations within the chapters are fun. I like how it's laid out like a guide, so you can skip to whichever chapter you're interested in. I would love to keep reading on to find out what comical solutions the author has for each problem. This book will make a great gift for the "loud and proud wide-a-woke Snowflake" in your life.
