First of all, thank you readers first for a copy of this book to read and review. Starting with the cover, it’s cute - an avocado with a Santa hat on, very cute. I class myself as an eco minimalist and I have been attempting to be more sustainable during the festive period for years so some of the problems in here are ones I agree with and try to apply to my christmas. There is some good tips and possible alternatives such as the new way of doing Christmas crackers - I would love to make everyone wear a fun hat for Christmas meal.
I have only given this book 3/5 stars because as much as I liked the book it started to get a bit silly / the problem with snow? - leave snow alone!
They have tried to reclaim snowflake, just let a snowflake be a snowflake and just try to be a good person and sustainably change your habits. Don’t be angry when speaking to people about issues. If you’re nice it might inspire the people around you to try and change too.
Anyway; I’ll be passing this book on so someone else can decide if they like it or not.
