A snowflakes guide to christmas is a witty, sarcastic look on the problematic areas of the Christmas holiday. It covers areas like food, decoration and gifting and so much more.
I liked Dave Skinners writing style, it was really easy to get through and this book is quite short and quick to read.
I read this in two sittings but I think it would be nice to read a chapter/section at a time.
The book is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but the cover is really cute and I think the avocado on the cover is quite funny. And the hardcover without the dust jacket is really nice too with gold writing on the spine, and I think it would make for a nice gift.
Overall, I think it’s a pretty quick and fun read and would make a cute stocking filler.
