Full of sarcastic and sassy humour

Firstly, I adored the cover of this book! An avocado with a Christmas hat on it is definitely my favourite cover of the year and ties in hilariously with the theme of the book. I love how it is a fun pocket-sized guide about how to make the most of the holiday season. It’s a hilarious and clever way to reclaim the Snowflake label. From hiring Christmas trees, to stereotype-disrupting toys for children, the book is full of hilarious Christmas ‘problems’ and how we can solve these with multiple potential solutions. The alternative yuletide playlist, including bops Greta, Baby and Driving Home For Christmas in my Electric Car, made me giggle. The illustrations make this one super easy and quick to read, keeping you engaged and adding to the giggles. Full of sarcastic and sassy humour, this is a fun and quick read we all need after 2020! It would make a great stocking filler.
