This book initially led me to think it would be fun, lighthearted but also perhaps quite critical of certain people commonly now referred to as ‘snowflakes’. I personally don’t like that term because I feel there are occasions whereby people offer a different view, or wish to highlight the critical nature of the meme or statement someone has made and are immediately shutdown with being called a ‘snowflake’. Indeed people comment ‘here come the snowflakes’ before anyone has had the chance to disagree with the particular scenario. This book had some very funny parts, some edgy statements and comments and was sectioned into different parts of the Christmas season which meant it was an easy read. However there was one comment that referred to paedophiles which I felt extremely uncomfortable with and it did affect then my view of this book
