For me, political comedy is always a win and with this book it was no different, this was a very fun read which I enjoyed from start to finish. The political commentary throughout was hilarious and made many references to current political affairs which may arise at the traditional family Christmas dinner table. Along with the politics it also talks about other festive events which can turn up the pressure between family members at Christmas. These sections include gift wrapping, Christmas card choices and party games. For me, the most disappointing thing about this book is the fact it doesn't get ENOUGH into politics and instead teeters on the edge in an attempt to not put many people off reading. While I enjoyed the fact this book was not purely politics, as a politics lover I was a little disappointed with the lack of it inside of this book which is seemingly meant to be political. However, a very fun and light hearted read!
