As someone who dislikes Christmas I found this book a fun and enjoyable and quirky read and was something different to read during these difficult times. It gave some interesting and fun ideas and ways to get through the festive period and was the ideal survival guide for the festive season. I think most people would enjoy this book and would gain some comfort from it. It would also make a fun and delightful Christmas present for someone who likes alternative things.
It is the sort of book that you can dip in and out of and that doesn’t need to be read in one sitting and can be looked back over when needed. It is a great concept to have a book that is a survival guide to Christmas as people tend to think that it is everyone’s favourite time of year when in reality this is sadly not the case and for a lot of people it is not the time of cheer and joy that it is made out to be
