I don't read much non fiction but as this was shorter, and about my favourite time of the year, I gave it a go.
I thought the book was entertaining, there were some parts in here that are genuinely funny and elicited a chuckle from me, and other parts fell short personally.
I found the book to be pushing the "go vegan and recycle" message, a great message to be promoting, but it was commented on in nearly every section/page, and towards the end I did roll my eyes at it being mentioned again. However, the parts about the fresh Christmas trees were something I appreciated seeing discussed in the book.
I can see what the author was trying to do in this short book, but it didn't work in some places.
I think that this would make a great gift for certain people, and it's bound to put a smile on their faces.
Thank you to Readers First for an advance copy to review.
