As a proud millennial snowflake, I thought this was a masterpiece. It talks about many issues my generation have with the festive period, from non-recyclable Christmas cards, to the sexism of snowmen and Santa's elves being used for slave labour. There were many moments that had me laughing out loud and i really enjoyed the dry sense of humour and sarcasm throughout the book. I think the best part was the alternative Christmas song.
This wonderful, pocket-sized book would make a perfect stocking filler, or even a great gift for the dreaded secret Santa. It contains many hilarious alternative Christmas suggestions, that you probably won't want to try because they are ridiculous but they are funny to imagine. I can't wait for snow so I can build my own "body positive snowperson". I might even read this book again next Christmas. Can't wait to see more from this author.
