I understand the point of this book and I love how eye-catching the cover is, the bright colours and images.
It's just a bit of a serious and silly mix. I read it on a whim and although I did finish the book, I didn't particularly enjoy it.
But as I said, I understand the need. Christmas is such a big thing for people who celebrate so it wouldn't hurt to make such a celebration or the festivities slightly more sustainable. And the actual mentioned ways do seem really good suggestions. The only reason I'm a bit iffy is that I don't see how it would really make any difference in the grand scheme of life.
People would pick it up, sure. But I don't know if they would actually take the time to read. I guess people who care about being sustainable would keep to that same standard even at times or days like christmas time. And the ones who dont realky care for such things, simply wouldn't read it.
