Whilst overall I was left a bit disappointed with the whole of the book Dave skinner does have several ways in which people can make Christmas more economical whilst making you laugh. I love the size of the book making it a perfect little stocking filler for the right person. I feel the older generation may not realise the book is ultimately tongue in cheek jokes.
I enjoyed that unlike the majority of books you could pick it up and put it down as you wanted and it was easy enough to get back into due to the nature of the content.
I thought that some of the “jokes” made were of poor choice in particular there is a part saying about women being sexual with men in the workplace. This isn’t a subject that should be joked about and did put me off the book overall. Some male readers may well have experienced something similar and a book shouldn’t be treating the subject as something to joke about
