Thank you for advance review copy of A Snowflake's Guide to Christmas. I had expected it to be a little bit more of a humorous book and slightly less serious, based upon the title, although this wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I liked the little facts that were included with each chapter. The colours on the cover and the design were striking and it would stand out on a shelf, although I'm not sure that I would buy a copy for any friends and family as it sort of defeats the purpose of avoiding buying unnecessary things. I found the font size to be a little small, perhaps a sign of age for me, but otherwise I liked the layout with the illustrations and photos. There are a lot of useful hints and tips contained within so I think it is a good book but perhaps might need a rethink about marketing to avoid being a parody of a decent idea and one many could learn from
