A Snowflake's Guide to Christmas is an amusing read, perfect as a Secret Santa or stocking filler gift this Christmas. It is a very tongue in cheek guide for 'snowflake's' to survive the perils of Christmas from family games to Christmas cards all aspects of the run up and actual Christmas period are covered. I love the front cover design of an avocado with a Santa hat on it, its very funny. It is not poking fun at so called snowflakes but highlights the problems Christmas may bring for the socially aware. Its a small book which makes it perfect to dip in and out of at ease. There are amusing anecdotes, tips, jokes as well as alternative festive songs to be enjoyed. The accompanying pictures are also very funny. I can think of a few people I would purchase this book for Christmas. It is a fun quick read which can be enjoyed by young and old. I would read more of Dave Skinner's books.
