This book was actually quite enjoyable to read over the festive period. It definitely had a somewhat tongue-in-cheek element to the witty jokes scattered throughout the book. At some points I felt it toed the line between funny and offensive but it overall it seemed funny. At some points I did worry that some of its readers may perpetuate the idea that young people are in fact a ‘snowflake generation’ which I believe can be a dangerous stance to have but I did get a good few laughs out of it. It was certainly thought provoking around aspects of Christmas we all act out but also had a fair few Christmas hacks! I have to say the eco friendly tips around Christmas were very useful and I will definitely be tying to implement them in the future. Snarky but also quite funny. It was also the perfect sized book for a stocking filler so that was a great bonus!
