I can see where this is going, but I'd still read it....

This first impression was easy to read, and set up the story straightaway. Although the subject and storyline is a bit cliche, and you can guess where the story is going, I'd still quite happily read on. I felt like I got to know Caroline quite well in those opening pages, and I'd like to see how she gets on.
