I liked the cover and the blurb grabbed me however the narrative of the book just wasn’t to my taste, I don’t mind stories being told first person but it was the ‘I didn’t know it then but’ style of narration that put me off as I just want to read the story not every thought going through the characters mind. It’s a shame as it did appeal at first glance.
