A great synopsis that makes the reader unsettled, but in a good way, so that they want to read on and find out more about this unusual family and the deadly circumstances surrounding their peaceful location. It sounds like it could be a film noir from classical Hollywood or a horror book from the 1980s, a timeless story of obsession, fear, love, death and all the elements that make a great winter read on a Sunday afternoon. I'd love the chance to read this book and find out what happens.
