A Stranger on the Beach is a thriller told from the points of view of both Caroline and Aidan which was interesting as I was never sure who was telling the truth. Both seemed to be unreliable and untrustworthy.
Sadly, I found all the characters particularly unlikable which made it difficult to.care what happened. I was never rooting for anyone.
I enjoyed parts of the book with its many twists and turns but found that as it progressed it became more and more unbelievable and a bit ridiculous.
I feel this is a fair summer read that many may well enjoy but it wasn't really for me.
