This book started off well, introducing the characters and the narrative from two differing perspectives. I got into that format, but then I lost interest a bit as it became a little rambling and repetitive in dialogue and plot. There is a bit of genre-jumping, going through thriller to romantic to easy-read in sections. I like the idea of competing versions of events, and a twisting tale that gets you to think and wonder what is actually happening and what is to come. However the female character is not very believable and this distracted me. The ending is better than I thought it was going to be, given that I had to plough on to finish the book. If you enjoy a basic thriller this is for you.
