Having read the first few pages I was keen to see how the story progressed and I wasn’t disappointed. I had a few different ideas as it went on, and I like that it kept me guessing. The story is written from both Caroline and Aidan’s side which I enjoyed. For a fairly simple plot it does have a few twists and turns as we continue through the story. I read this over about 3 days and one of my acid tests is how eager I am to pick up the book for another chapter or two. I found myself wanting to read more, and stayed up late to finish it. That said, it’s a fairly easy read, not complex or disturbing in any way, and one I plan to introduce as my next choice at my book club. Michele has written a couple of other books and this was good enough for me to look at buying these. Recommended read.
