For me this was a fantastic psychological thriller which I enjoyed from the first few chapters. I was hooked. I flew through this one fast, it was such a descriptive read and I suddenly want a beach house now!
I loved the alternating perspectives telling their versions of the same event. Who is telling the truth? Both are unreliable narrators and i found my opinion changing more thsn once throughout the book. The added perspective from the investigating detective was the perfect addition.
This was a quick, fast paced and suspenseful read full of twists and turns. I'm already looking at other books from the author.
