For me, this was a mixed one - it started very well, really fast-paced, and it quickly draws you in! After this, it kind of peters out and slows down and starts getting almost a little boring. But then at the top, there are more twists and you're captured again!

I find it very difficult to interact with Caroline or feel some sympathy for her character - the characters are very difficult to like. That said considering the way he was depicted, I was on Aidan's team.

For this novel, the author has a decent idea but found that there was something missing that made it distinct from other thrillers out there. I found that some of the character switches were pretty abrupt and almost making me feel like I'd lost out on something. The writer, however, continually makes you wonder who is good and who is evil, and that's what made me read this novel which was exciting.
