I'm just going to start off with the fact that I absolutely enjoyed reading Michele Campbell's 'A Stranger On The Beach'.  I knew from the write up that this would be right up my street, and I wasn't wrong.  Michele really captured the elements of suspense and suprise in this beautifully well written psychological thriller.

The idea of an idyllic beach house setting, with a seemingly perfect family and a guy in awe of the building and of one of the occupants was well thought out and I really enjoyed the way these characters were written and it's easy to become very attached to both Aidan and Caroline.  All of the characters are believable, and at first impressions you get a real sense of who they are and what they want but their versions of matters will make you love to hate and hate to love them to the point where you will question their intentions throughout the whole of the book.

The only thing I felt that could improve was that the romance scenes could be dimmed down a little, a little too much information in my opinion but, all in all this was a fantastic read and after reading I feel like I need to re-read it with a different perspective.

I will definitely be looking out for more books written by this author.
