From reading the blurb to the first look of this book I was excited to jump into it and see what the story had waiting for me. It seemed like it would be a thriller full of twist and turns and the unknown.

The first half of this book was exactly as I had anticipated. Unnerving to a anxiety inducing degree. A fight with her husband leaves Carolines marriage collapsing around her, breaking her life and heart into pieces. Caroline turns to the stranger from the party for some comfort. However a quick fling means more to Aidan than it does to her and his obsession with Caroline grows.

Seeing this obsession grow was terrifying, leaving you wondering what was going to happen next.

When Carolines husband turns up dead and she is blamed for the murder, the tone of the book changed and to me started to become very predictable and less thrilling.

It was obvious to me what the conclusion was going to be. However, it was still an enjoyable thriller.
