The writing was good, not particularly my thing. I thought it felt a little bland and boring, too many details of things that don't really matter or contribute to the story. I feel most of the details are just there to set the scene and not really add anything to the storyline which does distract from the storyline.
Sorry, but will not buy or read this book myself, but my mum said she might buy it in the future as she also read the first impressions along with me.
The book is more her thing, anyway.
I know many people would enjoy this book, but for me I couldn't get past chapter four on the first impressions.
