I admit I did feel a little confused after the first few chapters before realising that the two characters, Caroline and Aidan had two very different versions of events. As the readers we're left not knowing who to believe. I found that the ending was quite satisfying and did seem to tie up all the loose ends - it was very cleverly written and I enjoyed it enough to feel like I would probably buy another book by Michele Campbell.
