This is such a great book it’s the first I have read by this author.
Right from the first few pages you are thrown into a descriptive toe curling, addictive read with a police womans death, then when a capable but flawed police man gets assigned the case with his colleagues there is camaraderie as well as some humor in the book with each character coming into their own throughout the book.
You are continually asking questions all the time, why the birds, what’s the connection, thrying to figure it all out.
I would definitely recommend the read and will be checking out any other books by the author, it is written really well flowed from the investigation to the killers point of view.
It’s very descriptive gripping ready that I couldn’t wait to get through without any interruptions. It really brings home a lot of points with the police aswell.
