I got this book as part of my first box from @aboxofstories. I often judge books by their cover before reading the blurb for an author that I haven't read before. I don't know if I would have picked up the book before but I am glad that I received this book!
I loved the progression and desperation experienced by the killer and the way Nathan battles with his personal struggles throughout. I didn't make the connection with the birds but this may have been due to my lack of knowledge on Liverpool.
I enjoyed the book and will definitely be picking up the next book in the series. I want to know what happens with all the characters but especially between Nathan and Megan.
