Not familiar with this series of books, but was drawn in by the front cover of a Queen Victoria-type figure looking less than amused and this hints at the quirky idea of Her Majesty playing detective - with one of her pooches as a sidekick - as she tries to solve the twin mystery of a missing royal yacht oil painting and a body found in a swimming pool.
