I didn’t know about this series before reading this first impression. As soon as I read that that the Queen is solving crimes I wanted to find the first book. I liked the fact that both crimes had happened within the first 25 pages. I have a feeling this will be a heartfelt, funny story although not a lot was given away in the pages given. It has left me curious to know more. Have we met the person who has died in the prologue? Are the death and the stolen painting linked? More questions than answers. It would be great to read more to find these out.
