I am someone who finds the royal family quite fascinating so this extract appealed to me. I love the idea of a crime solving Queen. The extract pretty much sets the tone for the story up ahead and it has interested me enough that I would want to read on. The extract is well written, flows easily and the content would appeal to anyone who finds the royal family interesting. A good start overall.
