Generally the book was a nice casual read with a fairly gripping story. At some points it was a bit slow however it was still enjoyable. I liked the characters and I was interested in finishing the story. This is a modern book with a classical twist, which made for a reading experience that I have never before experienced. The integration of current affairs into the story was a nice grounding to reality when reading about the monarchy, which may sometimes feel unreal. If you enjoy casual crime and mystery I would definitely recommend this book.

The way it was written was easy to comprehend however I do wish it was a bit more gory as it is a crime/mystery however I understand that it may be due to the age-range. I will be picking up more books by this author when I get the chance. I'm intrigued to see what the Queen is up to next.
