I recently read The Windsor Knot, the first book in this fun series and enjoyed it so was very happy to get my hands on the recently published second book in the series. I have to say that I enjoyed A Three Dog Problem even more than the first.
You have to forget about reality when reading this series as the Queen is obviously not out solving mysteries in real life (or maybe she is....) but the way the author writes this series makes you believe she really could be. The Queen and Rozie are characters you warm to and you know the Queen is going to solve the mystery quicker than the police will. I enjoy the way the author writes conversations between the Queen and Prince Philip and appreciated the note at the start of the book that explained that this book was written before his death earlier this year.
I'm looking forward to reading the third book in this series when it is released in 2022.
