Sadly my prize draw copy from Readers First never arrived but I won a copy direct from the publisher for taking part in the author newsletter competition.

I loved The Windsor Knot and I'm pleased to confirm that this book continued the excellent series in style. I enjoyed meeting the main characters again, and we start to find out more about their 'back stories' whilst they are investigating sudden deaths and missing paintings.

This is a cosy mystery book rather than a pyschological thriller, as the amateur sleuths at the Palace (HM the Queen and Rozie) try to solve a number of mysteries without the other Palace staff and the police being aware of their investigations.

The hardback book is stunning, with gorgeous end papers featuring crowns, corgis and the queen. The title of the book relates to how many dogs the Queen needs to walk to solve a problem.
