The second book in the series was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot more about Rozie, Assistant Private Secretary. Rozie has been tasked with tracking down the whereabouts of an artwork that used to hang outside the Queen's bedroom. She's certain she saw it at a recent exhibition, and she'd like it back!

There are a few tragic events along the road, and poison-pen notes keep popping up. Is there a link between the two? Is this more than a coincidence? What kind of secrets has Rozie been leaking? The household crew is highly tense as a refurbishing campaign approaches.

I appreciated learning more about the royal art collection and contemplating the effort required to keep track of it all. And how enticing it would be to have some minor stuff vanish over time. This was a fascinating mystery to solve, and I'm a big fan of the series; it's very British!
