Yet again this is a brilliantly written and thought out book. The idea of the queen solving crime is hilariously funny, yet the beautiful writing allows for the plot to flow seamlessly. I couldn't put it down, I laughed throughout as the humour flowed.
There is a mystery to solve though and this is expertly woven into the narrative, with all the twists and red herrings of a conventional crime story.
The characters are written in depth and it is easy to relate to each and every one. You find yourself believing that it is possible for the queen to solve crimes and have a group of helpers from all areas to assist her.
