The sequel to The Windsor Knot, A Three Dog Problem is again a fun and cosy mystery featuring Queen Elizabeth II, set mainly in the residence of Buckingham Palace. On this occasion, the mystery lies within a missing painting that once hung opposite the Queen’s bedroom door.

I definitely felt more at ease with this story than I did with The Windsor Knot as I already knew the main characters and felt that they were much more settled and developed this time around. Rozie is an exceptional character and I love the strong female personality. This series combines fact with fiction and I enjoy finding out little snippets that I did not previously know about.
I love the little inclusions of other royal family members within the story which makes for amusing reading. The story flowed much better than the first book although I still think there are a few too many characters.
