I liked this novel. It was really quite amusing in places. All the character,s were well written and l loved the main character and also how the Queen was portrayed. The writing flowed easily and was extremely well written. I haven't read anything from this author before but l definately will look for this author again ! I liked the way they bought the outside character,s in and the description of the tunnel,s under the palace,s sounded brilliant ! The reference,s to the Windsor Castle incident has meant that l have put the previous novel on my list of novel,s to look for / read. I really liked the main character and although she worked for the Queen and treated her with the utmost respect there still seemed to be a friendship there. I thought the relationship between them was a lovely one. I would definitely recommend this book and l am going to look for this author again.
