When I read the first look I was on the fence about this book but after reading it I adored it! I could not put this book down. Just imagining the Queen solving crimes in her spare time is surreal but would be brilliant it it was reality.

It has a-lot going on with its pages mainly surrounding a accident that turns into a whodunnit murder style novel that reminds me of the work of Agatha Christie. This being connected to a long running scam of royal items being spirited away through tunnels beneath the royal residence makes for interesting reading. It is not too far fetched to believe items probably have been taken throughout the years, a sad thought especially when they could be of such historical importance.
The characters are given such depth that you can imagine them to be someone you know. Brilliantly written and would no of guessed at the outcome and honestly cannot wait for the next instalment !
