This is the second book in the series where the Queen becomes a detective with the help of her assistant, Rozie.
I read the one before this, I thought it would be a bit daft but in fact it is so well written that you can actually imagine everything going on, first in Windsor and now Buckingham Palace.
It starts off as what everyone thinks was an accident, the house keeper that no one really liked was found in a pool of blood by the swimming pool, it looked like she had fallen and hit her head on the ground and in so doing had fallen onto a piece of glass that had cut her just above the ankle and she had bleed out.
The book then goes back to a previous month when the Queen sees one of her paintings while on an official trip and calls Rozie to find out how it had got her, this opens an enormous can of worms with some awful consequences.
I would recommend this book, I have already preordered the next one.
