This is the second book after The Windsor Knot although it could easily be a stand alone read. It is a fun, refreshing book where The Queen turns detective with the help of Rosie, her assistant. This second book has moved from Windsor Castle to Buckingham Palace and the mystery is the suspicious death of an unpopular housekeeper by the swimming pool. There is a second plot of a potentially stolen painting belonging to The Queen. It is a strange experience as it feels as though some of the conversations between The Queen and Prince Philip could have been accurate!

I would summarise this book as a light, easy read with an insight into Palace life and routines. It would suit a follower of Royalty and The Queen in particular. It would make a great Christmas gift in its festive green cover. I thought the cover and in-fact the title was brilliant. A great read.
